Signs of a Good Relationship
As human beings we are designed to be social creatures and to socialise with others on varying levels. From workmates, neighbours, parents, children etc, we take on a social role which has different rules according to the relationship. Whatever the relationship is, we all strive to have the best we can, but not all relationships turn out to be good ones! This is particularly noticeable in romantic liaisons, of which we may go through a variety before finding the person we regard as ‘the one’. So what makes for a ‘good’ relationship? Firstly, it depends on the intended outcome of the relationship, which often begins as a friendship first, maybe turning into something more romantic as time goes by. It is therefore important that for a lasting relationship the foundations are solid to build on.
One of the main things is the ability to talk things through and therefore be able to understand how the other persons thought processes work. As you begin to discover more about them it is also important to learn to accept their failings, after all, the chances are you are not perfect yourself are you?
Many people fall into the trap of calling anyone they have feelings for as saying they are their ‘soul mate’. So what does this term actually mean? The definition is a ‘person’ ideally suited to another as a close friend or romantic partner! It is not necessary to be soul mates in order to have a happy marriage and neither does being soul mates indicate a couple are ideal lovers. It is also possible to be soul mates with others of the same sex, or older or younger or any other combination. It is the link between them that is the important factor.
Another term in use in relationships is ‘twin flames’. Unlike ‘soul mates’, in which a couple are perfect matches in some ways, ‘twin flames’ are perfect mirrors of each other. In twin flame relationships they tend to have on-off-on again relationships and also to be in and out of each other’s lives. The couple feel drawn to each other from the start and bond instantaneously, as though made for each other. It is more than love and they are always drawn back together.
Whether in a romantic relationship or just a friendship, if it’s to be lasting and meaningful, there should be mutual concerns. Truth, trust and honesty are the foundations for a good place to start and to continue. Having a supportive nature is also an important factor as humans are emotional creatures who thrive on support from others. So, if you are not lucky enough to have found ‘the one’ for you right now, don’t give up hope!
It might be a good idea to speak with a psychic to see if they can guide you towards finding that special person who can make you happy. Very often, just by being given encouraging words about your future can give you a different and more positive perspective on your life and can often unlock suppressed feelings, so maybe think about trying it?
