Calling All Scorpios!

Calling all my fellow Scorpios, it’s our time!! Scorps season starts on October 23^rd and after the ‘chill’ of Virgo and Libra season, this is here to bring the fire! It’s sexy and it’s spooky, what more could we ask for in Autumn? Pride in our sign is so common for us stinging tails and it’s a popular theme that we accredit all our highs, and lows, to it. Temper tantrum? “I can’t help it I’m a Scorpio”. Long-lasting successful relationship? It’s that Scorpio loyalty. The random need to remove yourself from humans?.....You get the picture. A few months ago I was shopping with my daughter and walked past a lady, she had a black t-shirt on saying ‘Scorpio’ across the front, with both arms tattooed with the constellation, the symbol, a huge scorpion….. THAT is us all over. I have my own recognition tattoos. We are one of a kind and we love that fact. We exchanged knowing smiles.

So, when we enter the season of a particular sign, it’s always important to know the traits and behaviours so we know what kind of energy to expect and how we can use it to work with it. That’s the amazing thing about astrology, throughout the 12 months, each event gives us contemplation prompts and a reason for a spotlight being shone on different aspects of our human journey. Therefore, over the Gregorian year, we cover all bases.

So, what and who are Scorpios? Firstly, they are the sexiest sign of the zodiac, if you want to channel this energy, then take from that what you will. Ultimately, they are so misunderstood! They appear jealous, but that is only because they demand loyalty that matches their fierce devotion. They are secretive but that’s only because they’re protective of their time and energy. They are sexy and mysterious, and their detective skills cannot be questioned. Also, they cannot be fooled, and HATE lies.

Some seasons are calm, some reflective, some nurturing and yes, some are intense! But there is no other season that matches this energy and this intensity. Not one. In modern astrology Scorpio is ruled by Pluto (God of the underworld), the planet of destruction, older astrology aligns Scorpio with Mars, the planet of aggression, action and desire. Either way, it’s a similar vibe. Scorpios always need to go deep. They go all in. Whether that be a conversation or a relationship, it’s all or nothing, there is no middle ground. You’re either in or out. This is NOT the time for fair-weather friends or romantic ‘flings’, whatever your sign. That isn’t going to fulfil your soul right now, nor end well, so don’t bother, honestly.

For those who are attached, revisit the spontaneity and seductive side of you for your partner, trust me they’ll appreciate it as you will find the energy more intense than ever. For those singletons among us, focus on the ‘glow-up’. No one does a transformation like a Scorps. Get a new hairdo, practice a seductive make-up style, colour up and enhance those lips! Dress to enhance your body shape and show off your best assets. Ultimately, OWN IT. Nothing looks sexier worn than self-confidence with an air of mystery.

Just to bring the mood low for a brief second, we need to touch upon the vulnerability of Scorpios, like I said it is the all-in nature of us, so we must acknowledge the cons too. If you’re feeling low, raw and exposed, WWASD (what would a Scorpion do)? Go off to their cave, isolate and hide until they are fierce enough to face the world again. THIS IS OK!!!!!! In fact, I recommend it. A Scorps would never have the ‘fake it until you make it’ mentality. They would be out, loud and proud with 100% authenticity or hiding in a cave! Either way, embrace it.
