At some point in December, many women discover they have become the invisible project manager of Christmas.

Suddenly, you are:

• holding the family diary
• remembering who doesn’t like sprouts
• managing emotions you didn’t create
• and smiling while doing it

None of this was in the job description.

Christmas, for women, often comes with an unspoken expectation to make it magical. To keep the plates spinning, the traditions intact, and everyone vaguely content — preferably without looking tired.

Here’s the quiet truth: you don’t have to do it all.

You are allowed to:

• lower the bar
• simplify the menu
• say no without explaining
• leave some things undone

Christmas will survive. People will cope. The world will not end if the table isn’t perfect.

The real survival skill this season is remembering that your presence matters more than your performance.
