Connecting to your guides

 

 

 

 

In this Series, “Magical Herbs, Aroma and Verse” the focus is on using these Magical Energies, with Crystals, the Moon Phases and other Energetic Sources that can help create or eliminate things that you wish to manifest or release in your life, giving you tools to expand your awareness, increase self-empowerment, and your intuitive abilities.

Today we will focus on how to connect with your spirit guides or guardian angels, those of a higher being that can assist you when in need of support or help.

 

Connecting to your Guides:

You can connect to your spirit guides or guardian angels at any time, this can be helpful when you need to gain insight and get clarity or to receive messages and help in any area of your life.

Some people can feel their guardian angel’s or guides around them all the time, and you don’t need to go into a meditation to feel or receive their energy or presence, but going into a meditation to connect with them can be a good thing to do especially if you are new at doing this.

Different ways to connect:

 

Before you start a process to meet your guides it can be helpful to look at the following suggestions to see which ones are more in line with how you want to connect with your guides. Try a few of them, to see which ones give you the best experiences whilst connecting with them.

 

• Get into the Habit of Asking, by calling upon your Guides when you need support or advice from them.
• Connect with them through prayer or meditation and invite them to reveal solutions to the problems.
• You may wish to focus on one problem at a time, but do this process regularly, the more you ask and connect with your Guides the more you will receive.
• Start off by making a list of  1-3 important things that you currently need help with.
• Go through each problem one by one and thank your Guides after each one, saying:-

“Thank you, guides of the highest truth and compassion, for revealing a solution to this problem.”

• Listen, whilst meditating, as your mind will be quiet and your vibrational energy will be slowed down, this will help you hear the Wisdom of their Guidance – trust what you get.
• Write in a Journal what answers came up for you from your Guides and go back to what you wrote a few days later to see if the problem had resolved from the advice you received.
• Ask for a Sign, to see or experience a knowing, pay attention to what you have been given or receive.
• Stay in an Energy of Gratitude, thank and appreciate your Guides and their solutions to your problems.
• Trust in your Psychic Ability, believe in yourself, know you have the capacity to call upon and connect with your Guides to get their help. This ability will continue to grow and strengthen the more you engage with them.
• Ground yourself after each time you have connected with your Guides – walk bare feet on the grass, stomp your feet, touch the earth, anything to bring you back into yourself.

As you can see there are so many ways to connect with your guides, but at the end of the day it is important to do a process that feels right for you, one that builds self-trust and gives you the best positive experiences with connecting and building a strong bond with your guides.
